Chelsea Apartments St. Louis
At Chelsea Apartments in St. Louis, the design team set out to create a warm, nature-driven environment within the amenity spaces. An earthy color palette and natural materials guided the vision, with sculptural hanging leaf elements introduced to bring texture, movement, and a strong organic presence to the space.
MicroLite!™ Solutions
KMDI fabricated custom hanging leaf elements using MicroLite!™, each finished in woodgrain films to achieve a natural, realistic look. While each leaf features a unique grain pattern, careful coordination ensured an overall sense of consistency across the installation.
Precision fabrication also allowed the elements to be tightly scribed to surrounding architectural conditions, including columns and walls, creating a clean, exact fit. The end result is a highly detailed feature that delivers both visual impact and craftsmanship at every level.
