What is MicroLite!™?
MicroLite!™ is a proprietary material invented and produced by KMDI. It’s a lightweight, seamless, and fully encapsulated composite material that can achieve a Class A fire rating.
Because MicroLite!™ is so lightweight yet still durable, it can be used to create many types of custom fabrications including soffits, fascias, displays, curves, rings, clouds, and more.

The process of designing, manufacturing, and installing with KMDI is fully collaborative. Our team works closely with your team and all other involved parties such as architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality every step of the way.
Your project with KMDI can begin with something as simple as drawings or the project rendering in a 3D modeling program.
By seeing where your MicroLite!™ elements will be used—along with the size and shape—our team will determine which MicroLite!™ composite will be the most appropriate choice for the custom fabrication you have in mind. From there, we can help you choose the finish of your choice, from paint, wood, veneer, laminate, metal, fabric, wallpaper, and more.
With all that information, KMDI can prepare a preliminary budget estimate to give you a starting snapshot of your project.
Then, the work of custom fabrication begins. And soon enough, your fixture will arrive prefabricated, pre-finished, ready to install, and ready to impress.
