What are the Specifications of MicroLite!™?

Fire Rating – ASTM E84
KMDI fabricates interior elements using several different formulations of MicroLite!™, depending on the specific project needs of the client. We offer formulations that conform to ASTM E84 testing to achieve a Class A rating with results ranging from 5/120 to 25/300.
Weight
KMDI fabricates interior elements using several different formulations of MicroLite!™, depending on the specific project needs of the client. Typically, our formulations range in weight from 8 ounces to 2.5 Lbs. per square foot.
Dimensions
There are unlimited dimensions to MicroLite!™, so you can be assured that almost any design can be brought to life.
Finish
MicroLite!™ is typically pre-finished by KMDI according to the client’s specifications. Finishes include, but are not limited to:

Acoustics
When used for acoustic needs such as for soundproofing or in entertainment venues, MicroLite!™ can be made with an NRC rating between 0.80-0.90 for superb sound quality control.
